Interior view of the Electro Mechanical Company located at 1618 South Staples Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 1937, the name was changed to Bradleys' Motor and Armature Works. Gail Bradley, Jr., owner Gail Bradley, Sr., and Fausto Rodriguez stand, from left to right, in the center of a spacious workshop with wooden floors and ceilings. Shelving units line the left and rear walls and are laden with drill bits and other tools and supplies. Note the roll of binder twine on the ceiling, the overhead line shaft and belts and pulleys, and the spools of wire at right. |
