The James Joyce Checklist is a project of the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin in collaboration with the Pennsylvania State University Libraries and the James Joyce Quarterly. It contains references to publications relevant to Joyce, in any language, and in every medium, from the early twentieth century to the present. The Checklist is an ongoing project whose contents will grow both retrospectively and prospectively, updated quarterly.

The Checklist now includes "The Joyce Calendar: A Chronological Listing of Published, Unpublished, and Ungathered Correspondence by James Joyce," compiled by Richard B. Watson and Randolph Lewis. The original "Joyce Calendar," published in 1994, contained over 3,250 records; this revised version includes 142 additional records added by William S. Brockman.
