HRC 1 Catholic Church. Breviary, temporale, without calendar. Italy: 14th or 15th century. 169 leaves: parchment, 236 x 175 mm. Written in Latin, Gothic rotunda script. Layout is 2 columns. Binding: Bound in brown leather over wood boards; repaired. Note in blind on spine, "Codice dal Venezia… ." Metal furniture decorated with cherub heads. Provenance: Edward A. Parsons (1878-1962) of New Orleans, Louisiana (not listed in De Ricci). Use: Unrestricted in reading room, but coach user; available for classroom use in exhibit case only.
