HRC 41 Andachtsbuch (devotional miscellany). Germany: 16th century. 128 folios: paper, 156 x 103 mm. Written in German, cursive/bastarda script. Layout is irregular. Decoration includes 1- and 2-line red initials. Binding: Binding removed, but two cover-boards remain in brown leather, blind-tooled. Provenance: Belonged to Georg Kloss of Frankfurt; sold at Sotheby's in 1835; note inside traces it to "St. Katherinenkloster," possibly written by a later owner.
