Abstract:
Includes chiefly manuscript works and letters written by the British novelist, poet,
and essayist John Cowper Powys. Many of his handwritten manuscripts are heavily revised
and very lengthy, such as Atlantis (1954), Ducdame (1925), A Glastonbury Romance (1933), Porius (1951), and Rabelais (1948). Correspondence with his siblings Gertrude, Llewelyn, and Philippa Powys is
especially extensive.
