Abstract:
Includes manuscripts and letters of
the Irish poet, author, and politician Oliver St. John Gogarthy. Correspondents
include William Cosgrave, Lord Dunsany, Montgomery Hyde, James Joyce, George Moore,
James Sullivan Starkey ("Seumas O'Sullivan"), W. B. Yeats, and others. Some
materials were gathered by William Robert Rodgers for a radio broadcast about
Gogarty in 1960. There are also materials from Ulick O'Connor's research and writing
of Oliver St. John Gogarty: A Poet and His Times
(1964).
