Abstract:
Consists chiefly of works and correspondence of the American poet Robinson Jeffers.
Present are manuscripts for The Double Axe, Medea, and The Women at Point Sur and drafts of many individual poems. Along with much correspondence to and from family,
friends, colleagues, and admirers are letters, legal papers, and financial records
from Jeffers' publishers. Also included are some papers of Jeffers's wife, Una Call
Jeffers, and of the noted Jeffers biographer Melba Berry Bennett.
