Assembled by Performing Arts staff from various collections, including a gift from
Coleman
Jennings in 2009.
The Children’s Theater and Theater for Youth Collection contains brochures, newsletters,
clippings, and photographs documenting children’s theater in the United States and
abroad
from the 1960s through the 1980s. Over 300 theaters and performers are represented
in the
collection holdings. The collection was assembled by Performing Arts staff from various
collections, and includes a gift of material from Coleman Jennings in 2009. The original
order of materials has been maintained by placing items previously grouped with paper
clips
or staples inside a paper sleeve.
