The Dylan Thomas Literary File Photography Collection consists of 270 photographs,
including portraits of Thomas, his wife Caitlin Macnamara, their children Llewelyn,
Aeronwy,
and Colm, Thomas' mother Florence, and other family members, as well as friends and
associates. There are also photographic reproductions of sketches by Thomas, scenes
from a
production of Under Milk Wood, and views of places in Wales
associated with Thomas, including Laugharne, where Thomas moved with his family in
1938. An
index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this
file.

This file forms a part of the Literary Files Photography Collection that is comprised
of
photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of literary figures,
and
generally includes portraits and images collected by or of those figures.
