	This collection of images, by eighteen Czechoslovakian photographers, is from an exhibition that was part of an international, biannual "Fotofest" held throughout the month of March 1990 in Houston, Texas. The prints are arranged by accession number, which were assigned alphabetically by photographer.
	Described in the "Fotofest 90" catalog under the title "Perspectives, Real and Imaginary: Nineteen Contemporary Czechoslovak Photographers," the subjects of the photographs range from rural Bohemian settings to portraits of working class Czech people, animals, and female nude figures, to modern urban landscape abstractions, and to views from a soccer game and sporting events in Prague known as "Spartakiada." The photographs were made between 1968 and 1990. Photographers whose work is represented include: Pavel Banka, Jaroslav Barta, Ivo Gil (although not listed in the "Fotofest 90" catalog index), Stepan Grygar, Jiri Hanke, Bohdan Holomicek, Viktor Kolar, Zdenek Lhotak, Miroslav Machotka, Jan Maly, Dusan Palka, Ivan Pinkava, Jiri Polacek, Jan Reco, Jan Reich, Pavel Stecha, Jindrich Streit, and Peter Zupnik. (Also listed in the "Fotofest 90" catalog index, but not represented in this collection, were Ivan Lutterer and Miro Svolik.)
	The photographs are gelatin silver prints, with the five by Peter Zupnik embellished by hand coloring. The images vary in size, but most are mounted in numbered exhibition mats of one of two sizes (either 61 × 51 cm. or 51 × 41 cm.), with a few having been subsequently mounted on plain board. Some of the prints have sustained minor corner damage from repeated removal from the exhibition mats, and so should be handled carefully.
	Titles and dates given in the following item list are reproduced as given by photographers on the prints. Information supplied by the cataloger is enclosed in square brackets. Czech language diacritics are not reproduced in this description.
