			<head>Scope and Contents</head>
			<p>The collection consists of thirteen abstract images by Pierre Cordier (Belgian, born
				1933) using the chemigram process. The process was invented by Cordier in 1956, and
				involves painting with varnish, wax, or oil onto photosensitivie paper and exposing
				the paper using direct light, without the use of a camera or enlarger.</p>
