      <p>The John Boland Collection of Spalding Gray contains materials covering much of the
        actor/writer/performer's career, from a 1968 photograph of Gray in an off-Broadway
        production of <emph render="italic">Tom Paine</emph> to a <emph render="italic">GQ</emph>
        interview in late 2003 titled "Man Overboard." Additional items in the collection include
        short published works, playbills, advertisements and publicity photographs, interviews,
        reviews, videos, sound recordings, and books. The collection was created by and donated to
        the Harry Ransom Center by John Boland/<extref xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"
          xlink:type="simple" xlink:show="new" xlink:actuate="onRequest"
