        short story writer M. P. Shiel consists of manuscripts of his works and outgoing and
        incoming correspondence. Much of the correspondence in the Letters and Miscellaneous series
        are copies made by Shiel’s literary executor, Terence Ian Fytton Armstrong, better known by
        his pseudonym, John Gawsworth. <emph render="doublequote">Morse</emph> numbers refer to A. Reynolds Morse’s system for
