      <head>Scope and Contents</head>
      <p>The James Jones Literary File consists of 20 photographic prints, including movie stills
        (984:0010:0038-0042), portraits, family snapshots, and publicity photos (984:0010:0043-0056,
        985:0003:0001). An index, below, lists identified photographers whose work is featured in
        this literary file. An additional image of Jones, with Irving Wallace, can be found in the
        Irving Wallace Literary File.</p>
      <p>This file forms a part of the Literary Files Photography Collection that is comprised of
        photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of literary figures, and
        generally includes portraits and images collected by or of those figures.</p>
