The collection consists of 29 photographs by Wendy Watriss (American, born 1943) and Fred Baldwin (American, born in Switzerland, 1929-2021), a photojournalist team who concentrate on social issues. Depicted are rural scenes and people from East-Central, Southeast, and Southwest Texas, including Grimes, Gillespie, Kendall, Brooks, Hidalgo, and Presidio counties, taken between 1970 and 1972.
