Published book titled The Sunbeam, A Book of Photographs from Nature, edited by Philip Henry Delamotte, published in London by Chapman and Hall, 1859. The book contains 20 mounted photographs by the following photographers: four albumen prints by Francis Bedford; three albumen prints each by Lebbeus Colls and Joseph Cundall; two albumen prints by John Dillwyn Llewelyn; 1 salted paper print by Sir Henry Taylor; and 1 album print each by Sir J. J. (John Joscelyn) Coghill, Delamotte, Rev. Dr. J. Holden, Phoebus, Frederick Richard Pickersgill, George Washington Wilson, and Sir T. (Thomas) M. Wilson. Each photograph is accompanied on the facing page with either text or poetry. Subjects include Welsh and English landscapes (Lynmouth, Hampstead Heath, Penllergare), English and German architecture (buildings at Oxford, Canterbury Cathedral, York Cathedral, Heidelberg Castle), and English towns.
