The collection consists of three photographs by Max Waldman (American, 1919 or 1920-1981). Item-level information follows.

2001:0056:0001 -- Marat Sade, 1966. Gelatin silver print, 40.5 x 50.5 cm. The photograph documents a 1966 performance directed by Peter Brook, choreographed by Peter Weiss, produced by the Royal Shakespeare Co., and performed by Glenda Jackson and Ian Richardson;
2001:0056:0002 --Ulysses in Nighttown, 1965, printed 1966. Gelatin silver print, 43 x 35.5 cm. The photograph documents a 1965 performance by Zero Mostel, directed by Bergess Meredith;
2002:0051:0001 -- Leonie Rysanek, 1978. Gelatin silver print, 50.5 x 40.5 cm. The photograph features Rysanek as "Marschallin" for the Metropolitan Opera's 1978 production of Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier.
