Description:

The collection consists of 406 photographs, the majority of which are portraits of author and poet Carl Sandburg (American, 1878-1967) at various ages. There are also portraits of his wife Lillian, his brother-in-law Edward Steichen, his daughters, and his parents, as well as relatives in Sweden.
