Description:

Suite of twelve photographic prints, titled A Photographic Tribute to the United States of America, issued by the Eastman Kodak Company in 1976. All images were featured in the exhibition America: A Photographic Tribute to the United States of America on its Bicentennial. A copy of the booklet published in conjunction with the exhibition is located in the Center's library (call number q E 285.3 E22 1976 HRC-P). From the introductory text of the booklet: "In recognition of this photographic heritage and to commemorate the Bicentennial of the United States, Eastman Kodak Company commissioned 12 of the country's foremost commercial photographers to take America's picture."
