Description:

The collection consists of 316 gelatin silver prints by Walker Evans (American, 1903-1975). The bulk of the materials are the result of his collaboration with James Agee on Let Us Now Praise Famous Men and include images published in the two editions of the book, duplicates, proofs, and 120 unpublished documentary portraits, landscapes, and other images made in Alabama and Mississippi in 1936.
