Description:

The collection consists of twenty-one photographic prints by William Russell Young III (American, born 1949). Included are: fourteen gum bichromate prints, using different pigments and papers (983:0002:0001-0014); two gelatin silver prints (983:0002:0015; 999:0032:0002); one strip of 35mm transparencies, taken with a “Nimslo” camera (984:0057:0001); one lenticular, or “Nimslo,” photograph (985:0035:0001); one black-and-white Polaroid print made with a pinhole camera (988:0104:0001); two Ziatypes (a palladium and gold printing-out process) (998:0010:0001-0002); and four ink jet prints (998:0010:0003-0006); and one color holograph (2000:0065:0001). Subjects include female nudes, desert landscapes, and architecture in New Mexico. Time span covered is 1983-1997. Titles follow:
