The collection consists of 103 photographs by Fred A. Gildersleeve (American, 1880-1958) and A. A. Torrence. Taken in Waco, Texas, between circa 1910 and 1955, the images include scenes of commercial and residential architecture, commerce, and construction, as well as one photograph of Teddy Roosevelt on an enlistment campaign. The photographs are a mixture of contact prints, enlargements, and a few negatives. |
