Description:

The Miscellaneous Collection is comprised of approximately 155 prints and 9 glass negatives of various topics, including: architecture such as the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, Fort Peck Diversion Tunnels, Gaudi’s architecture in Barcelona, Spain- Parque Guell and Palacio Guell; and transportation including reindeer and sleigh, the Space Shuttle, Dornier DO-X airplane. The collection contains various portraits, including ones of Teddy Roosevelt, Lillian Reid and boxer John Sullivan, along with three copy prints, made by Al Schneider, of daguerreotypes. Also included are images of theater marquees, the Pecos Bridge, and Austin from 1853 to 1960?, Red Rock, Texas, Nowotny family photographs, San Jacinto monument, and Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth. The photographs date from between circa 1885 and circa 1990.
