Description:

The collection consists of 46 portrait photographs (prints and negatives) that date from 1880 to circa 1940. Subjects include Texas Governors Price Daniel and James S. Hogg, and members of the Texas Senate, Seventeenth Legislature, 1881, that appear in a composite photographs. Identified photographers include H. B. Hillyer and A. N. Callaway of Brenham, Texas. Many of the photographs are not originals but are copy negatives and/or reference prints made from them.
