COLLECTION TRANSFERRED TO BRISCOE CENTER
The John Valentine Collection of Franklin D. Roosevelt is comprised of approximately 400 prints and 1 8mm motion picture film in an extensive collection of images spanning the lifetime of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Box 1 contains images of his friends and family, political colleagues, conferences, inspections, and other events of his career. Box 2 contains images of political figures at various events. Box 3 contains images of other political figures, mostly of Abraham Lincoln. Also carte cartoons of John Wilkes Booth. Various and unidentified photographers. Time period represented 1870 to 1950 (ca.).
