Description:

The collection consists of approximately 400 images which are mostly formal portraits and snapshots of the Blake-Lundell family, and their homes and activities. Also present are a few letters with photographs and examples of early photo-finishing envelopes. The time period represented is circa 1900 to circa 1930. Formats and processes found in the collection include: cabinet cards; cartes-de-visite; photographic postcards; albumen prints; cyanotypes; tintypes; gelatin silver prints and negatives; photogravures; and platinum prints.
