The collection consists ollection consists of 180 photographs from the book The Wind that Swept Mexico: The History of the Mexican Revolution of 1910-1942 by Anita Brenner with photographs assembled by George R. Leighton. These are mounted photographs of the Mexican Revolution and follow the order in which they are presented in the book. Subjects include posed portraits of dignitaries, images of Mexican villages, town life, street scenes, cityscape, architecture, political assemblies and revolutionaries. |
