Description: |
The Soviets Exhibition Photography Collection is comprised of 162 silver-gelatin prints by various artists from the former Soviet Union. The images, which date between circa 1980 and 1990, are of architecture, monasteries, street-life, portraits, punk-rock fans in Siberia, rural people and places, parks, the military, and the elderly. This collection was donated by Bill Wright for the exhibition of the same name held at the Ransom Center in 1990-1991. |
