Description:

The Texas Sesquicentennial Project Photography Collection (a.k.a. Texas Historical Foundation Collection) is comprised of 10 commissioned works each by 14 photographers and one two-person team for "Contemporary Texas: A Photographic Portrait," and supporting photographic materials, that date to 1984-1985. In all there are 113 gelatin silver prints, 30 chromogenic color prints, 10 dye-transfer prints; 117 work prints, and approximately 750 contact sheets.

The photographers, followed by the accession numbers assigned to prints by them, follow. Please note that photographs accessioned with the year-lot prefix "986:0010" are exhibition prints, and those accessioned with the year-lot prefix "986:0011" are work prints, contact prints, etc.
