Published work, edited by photographer and inventor Walter B. (Walter Bentley) Woodbury (British, 1834-1885), entitled Treasure Spots of the World. A selection of the Chief Beauties and Wonders of Nature and Art (London: Ward, Lock, and Tyler, 1875), containing 28 mounted photographs. Accompanying each photograph is a brief article. Woodbury, Thompson, and Thomas wrote half of the accompanying articles, with the remaining articles written by John Latouche, Francis C. Naish, H. Baden Pritchard, G. Shrewsbury, J. Traill Taylor, Alfred R. Wallace, and Francis Young. |
