Description:

Set of stereographs published by the Keystone View Company of Meadville, Pennsylvania, in 1908, from their "Tour of the World" series. The stereographs are contained in five boxes designed to look like books. Four of the boxes are marked "Tour of the World," and the other is marked "Selected Subjects." The contents of each box, all of which have a book number inscribed in white ink, follow:

Book 1 -- 43 stereographs of the United States and Mexico;
Book 2 -- 44 stereographs of Spain, Portugal, Palestine, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice and Syria;
Book 3 -- 44 stereographs of Norway, Germany, France, and Greece;
Book 4 -- 37 stereographs of Great Britain, China, and Japan;
Book 5 -- 30 stereographs of India, Burma, Thailand, and Egypt.
