Photograph album, assembled ca. 1885–1901, containing 45 albumen prints with individual photographs dated in ranges spanning 1867–1901: 37 by Maison Bonfils (active 1867–1914), four by Félix Bonfils (French, 1831–1885), and four by Luigi Fiorillo (Italian, 1847–1898). The photographs primarily depict sites of religious and historical significance, including views of cities, villages, and natural landscapes in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Jericho, Nablus, and other locations in the West Bank, with additional views of the Dead Sea and Jordan River. |
