Description: |
Collection consists of nine gelatin silver prints from a series titled “Bushfire Aftermath, Gippsland -- Eltham.” The series was one of four series of documentary images from the exhibition “A Time To Love” displayed at the Ball and Welsh Gallery, under the auspices of the Australian Museum of Modern Art and Design, in 1965. These images from Bell’s series focus on the charred remains of trees and a dwelling in various parts of Victoria Province, Australia. |
