Description:

Unpublished photograph album containing views of Scottish scenery with 42 mounted albumen photographs. The album is inscribed with a note by Helmut Gernsheim stating: “42 photogr. of Scottish scenery some, if not all, by G. W. Wilson of Aberdeen.” Gernsheim also notes: "Some or all of these photogr. appeared in the illustr. edition (1868) of Queen Victoria's 'Leaves from the Journal etc.'"
