Photographically illustrated book, titled Photographic Album Accompanying "'The Ever Victorious Army'" (London?: 1868) containing 22 mounted albumen prints pertaining to the Taiping Rebellion (1850-1864) in China. From the preface: "This album is issued as an accompaniment to Mr. Andrew Wilson's work, published by Messrs. Blackwood, entitled "The Ever Victorious Army": A History of the Chinese campaign under Lieut.-Col. C.G. Gordon ... and of the supression of the Tai-Ping rebellion." Printed captions follow.
