Description:

Photograph album of the Passionsspiele (The Passion Play) performed at Oberammergau, Bavaria, in 1890. The album, which was published in Munich, Germany, by E. Franke in 1890 or later, contains 42 mounted collotypes and albumen prints. Laid into the album are two additional photographs of actors from the 1900 production of the play, both of which are autographed. Those prints are also stamped "Passionsspiele" and with "Leo Schweyer, Concessionirter Kunstverlag."
