Photographic album with images of Vesuvius erupting March 1944; British 8th Army entering Florence, Pisa, Venice, and Berchtesgaden, Austria. Included are handwritten and typescript captions on 85 mounted gelatin silver photographs. Some photographs are from the Mediterranean Allied Air Force and the Allied Forces Supreme Headquarters.
