Photographically illustrated serial, entitled Egypt, Nubia, Palestine and Syria: Photographic Pictures Collected During the Years 1849, 1850 and 1851 (London: E. Gambart & Co., 1852), containing salted paper prints by Maxime Du Camp (French, 1822-1894). The Ransom Center's holdings include part 5 (title page and plates 14, 17, 19, 20, 43, 44, 46, 48, 70, 73, 80, 88, 91, 95, 98, 99, 102, 103, 105, 106, 109, 110, 113, 114, 115, 118, 119, 121, 122, 123) and part 21 (title page and plates 57 and 64 only).
