Cabinet card portrait photograph album bound in red Morocco leather with a gilt clap, measuring approximately 7 3/4 x 9 inches, and dating to circa 1870. The album, compiled by an unknown creator, contains 46 photographs of politicians, churchmen, nobility, and actresses. Photographers with work in the album include H. J. Whitlock (19 prints), W. & D. Downey (5 prints), Hills & Saunders (3 prints) and Window & Grove (2 prints). The remaining 10 photographs are by 10 additional photographer.
