Unique edition portfolio, entitled Chrysotype Portfolio, by William Russell Young, containing 3 cyanotypes and 6 chrysotypes. The album “was constructed to display and protect a series of experiments in photographic processes invented by Sir John F. W. Herschel...All images are printed in both cyanotype and chrysotype versions so that scholars may compare the lesser known chrysotype to its better known cousin the cyanotype.” Print information follows.
