Description:

The collection consists of 21 photographs by the German photographic studio and publishers Adolphe Braun & Co. of Dornach, Switzerland. Twenty (964:0374:0001-0020) are albumen prints from circa 1880 of the St. Gotthard Railway Route at the time of its construction, and one (981:0017:0001) is a carbon print of a Swiss mountain scene dating to the 1870s.
