Description:

The collection consists of two photographs by William D. "Bill" Wittliff (American, 1940-2019). The photographs were taken on location during the filming of the television mini-series Lonesome Dove that aired in 1989. Wittliff wrote the teleplay for the production based on Larry McMurtry's novel of the same name . Item-level information follows.
