One limited-edition portfolio, titled Pictures that Made a Difference: The Civil Rights Movement (Rochester, N.Y.: Kodak, 1989), containing twelve gelatin silver prints by Charles Lee Moore (American, 1931-2010). The images were created between 1958 and 1965 and all pertain to the civil rights movement. Subjects include Martin Luther King, Jr., racial violence, civil rights demonstrations, and the Ku Klux Klan. The portfolio is accompanied by a pamphlet containing the captions to the Print Exhibit. This portfolio is number seventeen in an edition of twenty-five. Each print is signed and editioned by the artist, is mounted, and is matted to approximately 14 x 18 inches. |
