Description:

Limited edition portfolio entitled Eikoh Hosoe (New York: The Limited Editions Club, 2000). The portfolio, encased in a clam-shell box covered in gray silk, contains six leaves: title page, index of illustrations, three photographs by Eikoh Hosoe (Japanese, born 1933), and a colophon. The colophon reads: "62 sets numbered 1-62 / 1 printer's proof, and 2 archival proofs. This portfolio was editioned / by Jon Goodman on Arches Cover". Print information follows.

This portfolio is associated with another Limited Editions Club portfolio A Portrait of Shunkin (New York: The Limited Editions Club, 2000) by Junichiro Tanizaki that is illustrated by these same photographs by Hosoe.
