Description:

Published book, entitled The Royal Visit to Wolverhampton (Wolverhampton: Edward Roden, 1867), containing eleven mounted, albumen prints. Ten of the photographs were taken by R. W. Thrupp of Birmingham, England. The other photograph, an 1866 portrait of Queen Victoria at Balmoral, was taken by W. & D. Downey. Plate information follows.
