Photographically illustrated book edited by Cornelius Brown, F.R.S.L., titled An Appreciative Life of the Right Hon. the Earl of Beaconsfield (London: A. W. Cowan; Nottingham: C. Wheatley, 1881), covering the life of British statesman and twice Prime Minister of the United Kingdon, Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881). The two volume set contains twenty-seven woodburytypes credited to W. & D. Downey (British, active 1867-1908), London Stereoscopic Company (British, active 1854-1922), and the studio of Henry William Taunt (British, 1842-1922).
