Photographically illustrated book titled The Canadian Handbook and Tourist's Guide, Giving a Description of Canadian lake and River Scenery and Places of Historical Interest, with the Best Spots for Fishing and Shooting (Montreal: M. Longmoore & Co., 1866) by Henry Beaumont Small (Canadian, 1832-1919) and edited by John Taylor (Canadian, active circa 1866). The book is illustrated with 10 mounted photographs (albumen prints) by William Notman (Canadian, born Scotland, 1826-1891). Published plate titles follow.
