Description:

Photographically illustrated book by Mary Margaret Heaton (British, 1836-1883) titled Masterpieces of Flemish Art, Including Examples of the Early German and the Dutch Schools (London, Bell and Daldy, 1869). The book contains twenty-six mounted albumen prints, and each plate is accompanied by a guard-sheet with descriptive letterpress. Plate titles follow.
