Description:

The collection consists of 2,621 items, largely contained in seven albums. The images in six of the albums form a chronological depiction of Sinclair Lewis’ life and travels from 1912 to 1927, the years of his relationship with his first wife, Grace Hegger. The seventh album contains images of life at Twin Farms, Lewis’ home with his second wife, Dorothy Thompson, in circa 1943. The file includes portraits of Lewis, Grace, and their son, Wells, among the loose prints as well as in the albums.
