Unpublished album assembled by Mr. Unger (American, born in Austria), between 1942 and 1945, containing 373 gelatin silver prints. The photographs are snapshots of and taken by Unger as well as commercially produced scenes. Many of the commercial photographs have printed captions, and most of the snapshots are accompanied by handwritten captions. Subject matter includes cities and towns,landscapes, architecture, and people. Geographic locations include Capetown, South Africa; India, and elsewhere. |
